07 Jun Ananya’s Effulgence in Moscow-India’s Proud Moment
Ananya, a sweet 16-year Indian girl has won the gymnastics championship in Moscow by grabbing gold and silver medal. She won the gold for her all-around performance, the silver medal was for Miss Championship title in Salut Cup in May. She has become the first Indian rhythmic gymnast to win these medals in Moscow.
She competed against the best rhythmic gymnasts of the world, for which she was praised by the organizers and sponsors. The student of XI class GANGES VALLEY SCHOOL has brought laurels to its name. It is the most indelible and nonfictional achievement.
“Ananya was praised for her artistry (beauty and elegance in her routines). The impressed Olympic champion had asked Ananya who made her routines. Ananya said she did them on her own as she didn’t have a rhythmic coach in India. This took the Russian by surprised as the gymnasts take the help of their coaches and choreographers to compose the routines. I am thrilled to bits as Ananya has such a creative streak in her,” she added.
Ananya is trained by the 2008 Olympic champion Anna Gavrilenko.
Her 16th birthday turned out to be an amazing and the luckiest birthday as she wins the hearts of Moscow.
“Ananya performed some elements which were intricate and mostly done by the Russians. The crowd cheered so much that it’s going to ring in my ears for a very long time to come. Her music routines were of the ‘Queen Old Classics’. The icing on the cake, which made my daughter the happiest on the whole planet, was when the little Russian gymnasts took pictures with her and asked for autographs. It made her day,” Ananya’s mother said.
May she grows like this in her life and reaches the heights.
She makes India proud!
