Summer leaves you with an uneven tan across the body and getting rid of it isn’t easy.
Tanning is the process whereby skin colour is darkened or tanned. It’s a result of exposure to Ultraviolet rays.
But the cure is in your kitchen.
- Tomato Cucumber Mask
- One tomato
- One cucumber
Grate the cucumber and add tomato juice to it. Mix it and apply the mixture with cotton on your face. Keep it for 15 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.
- Lemon Honey Mask
- One Lemon
- One tsp Honey
Squeeze the lemon juice and add one tsp of honey to it. Apply the mixture on your face with cotton. Keep it for 30 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.
- Bengal gram flour and turmeric
- One tsp gram flour
- One pinch turmeric
- 2 tsp raw milk
Mix the ingredients to make a thick paste. Apply on the face and keep it for 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water.
4. Oat Milk and Buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons of buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons of oatmeal
Using circular movements, massage it onto the tanned areas.
5. Sandalwood Paste
- One tsp Sandalwood powder.
- 2tsp Rosewater.
Mix together and apply on the face for 20 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.
