Let’s pay Tribute to the Iron Lady

The entire country received a major setback on Saturday when the heart-breaking news about the death of veteran Congress leader Sheila Dixit came. Sheila Dixit suffered a heart attack after which she was taken to the hospital but she couldn’t make it.

Sheila Dixit was amongst the most remarkable female leaders this country has ever produced and the void which is created after her departure from this world is hard to be filled. She served as the Chief Minister of Delhi for a continuous period of 15 years and brought some exceptional development in the capital city. She took the development process of the city to a whole new level.

The Delhi government has declared a two days citywide condolence as a tribute to the great leader.
It is said that if you are in the politics you will have your hands dirty but Sheila Dixit was stand-alone, she had good relations with almost every opposition leader, she always said that we might differ on opinions but that won’t affect our relationship as a person.

As a mark of respect to her, she was crowned as the Governor of Kerala in 2014, however, she resigned shortly.
The entire political family have come forward to present their condolences for this outstanding leader, her companions from her political days said that they couldn’t believe that she is no more, it wasn’t that she was carrying any Illness or something, she was perfectly fine and was actively performing in the political activities of the Congress party for the upcoming assembly elections of Delhi.

The entire e’eleanor family presents our deepest condolences to the prolific leader who has given so much to the country, we will always be grateful to you, may your soul rest in peace.
